I also like how my Documents are available across any device where I download google drive. Overall, google docs are very user-friendly and useful.
You can customize your notes to how you want them, and even change the font of your text. Google docs allow you to add bulleted and numbered lists, highlight, and many other things. I also took notes in classes other than Biology, and the note taking was fool proof. I didn't have to focus on copying the notes and was able to listen better. Because I can type faster than I can write, it was easy for me to type the notes quickly and then listen to what my professor was explaining. Yellow was for things he said would be on the test, and colors like orange or pink signified things he noted were important. I highlighted what my professor said would be important, and color coded my notes that way. (My boyfriend, Chase, said they look like a teacher wrote them- thanks for the flattery, haha!) By the end of the semester, my notes in Biology were looking marvelous. As I got more comfortable with using google docs, my notes began to look better and better. I downloaded google docs onto my iPad, and would just type the notes into the document. Again, Google Docs boasts 15 gigabytes of storage, whereas Paper only offers a measly 2 gigabytes.I would first like to say that I take notes on my iPad. Paper is a good option, but Google Docs has the upper hand here. Users can also make mood boards to embed photos, videos and even Spotify tracks. Link Doc to Google Calendar or Office 365.Paper aims to keep users on the same page. A formidable competitor is Dropbox, another online storage service, who recently released Dropbox Paper. It's hard to think of another online word processor that can compete with Google Docs.

Users that want to edit thru their smartphones will have to download the Google Docs app on their iOS or Android device. However, this only applies if you’re using your desktop. You can access Google Docs through popular web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. Regardless though, if you have data and are connected online, both applications will work without a hitch. You’ll have to download both Google Drive and Google Docs apps, which is a bit troublesome.

So for documents that have more than one editor onboard, connect if you want revisions updated for all to see. The file storage and synchronization service allows users to organize and share files on its servers. You can’t talk about Google Docs without mentioning Google Drive. You can easily access popular fonts, use ready-made templates, and embed hyperlinks, images and other media. You won’t be surprised by the app’s interface given that Google Docs maintains the sleek, minimalist look found on Microsoft Word: white space, rounded page elements and muted colors. It’s hard to imagine how any word processor could top Google Docs.
