Well I don't worry too much about it now, maybe thats how it's supposed to be I guess, it just really bothered me at first, because.sigh, before LOOT even existed, I was using BOSS, and I was that type that spends 3-4 hours to set ALL damn mods right, before even starting to play the game, (nobody wants to find out mid-game their save is done forever).īut hey.maybe only the. Yeah that's the main problem I always use LOOT after installing a new mod, and by use I mean.open loot.wait for it to parse masterlist or whatever the heck he's doing there, then click on SORT, after he's done in about 5 sec, I click APPLY, and DONE nothings changed, nice. One thing you did not mention if you are using the sort function, which is a variation of LOOT, or LOOT itself.

But if not critical, you can change mod order in MO to get specific changes of importance for you. annoying, but not game crashing.īest use for DATA button is to generally ignore it, and use the better made for modding tools.Originally posted by wowszer:Changing a mod order (in the left pane of MO) for an important mod location, DLCS for example, will give a warning if critical. If you use ' milk ' a addon gets sorted higher than the mod master, which just causes a texture glitch if you dont move it. In Skyrim, Skyrim Special Edition, Skyrim VR and Fallout 4, the game master file (Skyrim.esm and Fallout4.esm respectively) always loads before all other plugins. Updated lootcli for LOOT 0.17.x masterlist and game detection changes. Updated libloot (the sort button) to 0.17.1 to match the new version of LOOT. For Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edition and Skyrim VR, there can additionally be loaded up to 4096 active. (those that are indicated to put at the very bottom of your load order) Diverse Dragons Collection. Improved 'visit Nexus' functionality for games that don't have Nexus pages. Most of the time that kind of thing wont be CTD issue either, but more game play. This isn't strictly a load order thing, but is worth mentioning. Again, those are 99% not a LOOT mistake, but just a tweak for different mods, or issues listed often on mod pages.

should install the Load Order Optimization Tool, or LOOT. You can always compare load order from both NMM and LOOT (LOOT will scan, then suggest a load order, that you don't have to accept if you don't want to). then use your mod manager of choice to alter orders only when its absolutely needed or a known thing. Lets use Nexus Mods as an example since its arguably the best place to find mods for Skyrim. Nexus Mod Manager should give you the option, LOOT is better than BOSS (being an update/upgrade of it). Skyrim automatically enables all my mods when I start it up, no matter what I do. No matter if I go into NMM and uncheck them, manually sort my load order, or run LOOT to sort my load order. but the way it is viewed by LOOT puts it higher, which is correct, but not allowing for it to control followers )īest thing load order wise. The problem I am having though, is that every time I start up Skyrim, the game literally enables all my mods and changes my load order. ( IE AFT needs to be below custom followers in load order. Just launch Skyrim or SKSE through the Nexus Mod Manager, to avoid the vanilla launcher messing up the load order of your installed mods. minus a few items that are generally known to need a lower position or higher based on what other mods you have in use. I use Nexus Mod Manager and lately when I start the vanilla Skyrim launcher it messes up the order of my installed mods.
